Oasis Semiconductor, Inc. was formed in 1995 to bring imaging and silicon expertise to the office automation market (copiers, scanners, printers, fax machines and Multi-Functional-Peripherals, a.k.a. "MFPs"). As a dedicated office automation silicon supplier, Oasis meets OEM requirements for low-cost, high-volume components and rapid time-to-market delivery.

Oasis Semiconductor has dedicated its resources to providing timely and inexpensive silicon solutions for the office automation market. The Oasis team includes experts on image processing algorithms, image compression algorithms, chip architectures and rapid chip design techniques. The majority of our team is made up of alumni of Digital Equipment Corporation's Semiconductor Engineering Group. Others have come from the graphics chip efforts at ATI Technologies and Philips.

Team members have had considerable involvement with multimedia, graphics and other non-paper imaging. The team has designed an impressive list of firsts, including the first multimedia-enabled CPU, first 3D PCI graphics chip and first full-speed single chip MPEG compression solution. Today, the Oasis team focuses on delivering leading edge ASIC solutions specifically for office automation products.
