Oasis is a fabless semiconductor startup on Route 128 in Burlington Massachusetts specializing in the office automation market (copiers, printers, fax, multifunctional peripherals). The innovative "DigiColor" architecture and leading edge ASIC technology have placed Oasis at the forefront of system-on-a-chip designs for this rapidly growing market. The ongoing transition in the office automation market to color and digital technology has created a tremendous opportunity for Oasis.
The next generation Oasis Color-MFP-on-a-chip ASIC is winning numerous design-ins. Our DigiColor reference design (chip, board, firmware, software package) is the primary tool for getting customers up to speed on our product. Oasis has an immediate need for an experienced Application
Engineer to take ownership of the Oasis reference design, its deployment, and customer support. Prior experience with fax, scanning, printing, imaging and/or color is beneficial. An ability and personality to work with customers and their equipment to help debug circuit and firmware problems is required.
This is an opportunity to establish an applications engineering function within a rapidly growing technology company. Responsibilitie includes
development of "DigiColor" reference design, and technical support for customer design wins. Travel to worldwide Oasis customer sites is required. Competitive compensation includes salary plus stock options. This is a full time, permanent position.
